The cloud misconfigurations behind most breaches we investigate
Over-privileged roles, public storage and forgotten access keys. A field guide to the cloud mistakes attackers look for first.

Cloud breaches rarely involve zero-days. They involve permissions nobody reviewed and resources nobody remembered creating.
What we find first
- Long-lived access keys committed to repositories or CI logs
- Wildcard IAM policies attached to compute workloads
- Storage buckets exposed through legacy ACLs
- Metadata service v1 still enabled on older instances
Guardrails as code, enforced in the pipeline, prevent most of these from ever reaching production.
