Who we are

SAMO Security is the controller of personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at hello@samosecurity.com.

What we collect

  • Enquiries: the name, work email, company and message you submit through the contact form.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and abuse prevention.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and does not track you across other sites.

Why we use it and on what basis

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To keep the site secure: our legitimate interest in protecting our systems (Art. 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted after 12 months. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors (hosting and email delivery) under Article 28 agreements. Data is stored in the EU wherever possible; any transfer outside the EEA is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, object to processing, or request a copy in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority, such as the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali in Italy.
